i got an 06 SS 2.4L AUTO, tranny died on me, any one know where either to get a rebuild kit, upgrade, or anything else, im having alot of trouble finding anything for it, and no, its not under warranty

what did you do to it, running too much power?

 

i dont know if its considered to much power but nitrous really took a toll on it....

 

what kind of shot?

 

upgrade to manual!

 

running a 75 shot to it, and i'd like to switch to manual, but thatll cost a whole lot more, with auto to auto theres not switching computers, adding peddals, and getting the whole shift assembley, if i could afford it tho i sure would

 

I doubt the 75 shot took out this trans. I've only seen a few ever go bad, there not like the 4t65e where everyone needs a rebuild. I also suggest going to a trans shop and have them rebuild it. they can get the same clutches and parts you see online.

 

i was gonna say ive been running a consistant ammount of power thru mine with no issues.
