End of lease SS/SC

So who will be trading theirs in while others keeping it for the finance?

I want to keep mine…. but I hear the SS/TC will be coming out with Stage kits that increase to 320whp max. Then I hear that the CSRT4 will be coming out with kits that will be 450whp from Mopar. Plus the wife wants more of a family car (4door).She does not want another 2 door unless I finance the cobalt. I'm going this Friday to see how much a CSRT4 lease will be. If over 300 a month then I will be financing the Cobalt. I really love the cobalt, I do but If I want to rebuild the motor (GM BUILD BOOK) I will still be only making 360whp with nitro. I don't want to go to the extent of converting to Turbo either. Too much tuning and R and D.

This is far fetched but if the lease is under 300 on the CSRT4 then I will start taking apart the cobalt minus the axle shafts because they were broke. Too bad I dished so much into those if this goes through. Like I said this probably won’t happen but I just wanted to see

SRT-4 won't be making that kind of power without a turbo swap, so expect that "kit" to be pricey and NOT warrantied, if it even exists.

Get an Evo and you won't have to do anything

Umm......I'm pretty sure the CSRT-4 is over 300/month. You don't finance for 10 years do you?

good rule of thumb is, for a 6 year term @ 7.9% APR, for every $1000 financed is $20 a month.

ss/tc wont have stage kits, the tranny is maxed at stock power levels as it is. the solstice turbo is getting the stage kit that puts the lnf to 320hp or so.

won't you have to pay for the stuff you've put into your car if you turn it back in if youre leasing it?

The soltice is the same motor and from what I hear they will be almost the same kit .

Yes I will have to take off everything that I put on . Should take about a week or so worth of down time.

Talked to teh GM dealership and asked about the Turbo and lease payments and they said that there is no way of getting under 303 (what I'm paying now for the SC lease)per month unless I put a lot down on it.

Payments for the SC once the lease is done wil lbe $280 a month for 5 years

I have heard from some very creitable people that work for SRT that state that the CSRT will be having these "kits" and it's going be awesome .

The 09 cobalt is out of question. I'm going to the dealer for dodge with the dodge family discount . If I can get it to be between $260-270. I will get the caliber

Well I visited the dealership today for leasing a CSRT and the least amount with nothing down would be $458 a month for a lease . With a Chrysler discount employee discount on top of that still 458. They said becasue of the fact that they know you will beat on it so it's harder to resell them once the lease is done.

So for sure I'm keeping the SS/SC. I knew I was going to just had to se what else is out there
