Another promblem.. whats new.
The car is acting up once again. This time seems like electrical.
It won't reconize the "clicker" SOMETIMES. press lock/unlock/trunk nothing works.
Use the key to open the door and the alarm goes off. Turn the car on.. Horn gets louder.. Drive away bout 20secs later the alarm shuts off. It does flash the little car lock light on the dash from time to time.
Right now I am reseting it by disconnecting the power to it.. Hopefully that will cure it but anyone else have this problem? If so what did you do to solve it?

 

It is the hood latch. Very common problem with the balts. The car thinks that the hood is open, therefore, activating the alarm.

 

Check the negative cable connection on the battery.
There was a post just recently with a member having the same problems and it turned out to be the neg cable was loose on the battery.
