Nice. I'll be going up there on the 24th for Jannetty Racing's track rental day. My car is slow, but I have fun.

No sorry, I wasn't there.

That's because I was waiting to see if any else was going, but I hadn't noticed any responses as of 5pm (my fault really, as I didn't think of checking LVD's schedule until just this morning).

But I saw later on that you posted a thread in the Drag Racing Forum about the same thing! LOLOL

Oh well, maybe we can a group to go at some future time (my new clutch is grabbing like glue!).

Was it crowded there? What did the other SS/SC's run? Who was breaking their axles? Was tonight your first time at LVD with the car? What was your 60ft time and trap speed?

BTW, I was getting real frustrated last year the few times I went because of the enormous amount of cars racing. Got like 1 run one time, and 2 runs the next time.

I wish LVD did not combine other events with their Test/Tune racing (as they almost always do).

Let's keep this going if people are interested, maybe we'll even see an SS/T racing there!

What is "Jannety Racing's" day?

And yes, it's all about being with people who are your friends and having fun!

A local race shop rents out the track two days a year. Its $100 for about 5 hours of racing (lunch is included for you and a friend).

Here is one of the threads I made about the last time I went: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/pictures-videos-64/jannetty-track-day-2-a-96935/

Definately a fun time.

id totally met up in the future, im most likely not going to run the car again till another couple of weeks but ill still be there to watch and ride with my friends.

there were two blue sc's one with stock white rims that was running a 14.5ish i think and one that i think ive seen on this site with c/f hood and black projectors that was low 15's.

crowd was fairly big, but alot of them left early. i made three runs first a 16.2 with a 2.377 60ft and 87.23mph. those were my first three with this car.

haha the axles being broken were from and 12 sec older integra, an accord, 300c that was smoking at the end off the track and then a kid that lives around me that basically ate his clutch launching. plus a couple more that just backed out at the line.

Your 60ft. time isn't that bad (I ran 2.3's with a 14.8 sec 1/4 when I went).

To break into the 15's I think your going to have to run 2.2's and then maybe add a few hp.

I can't believe all the cars that were breaking down.

Thanks for the write up!
