best ceramic brake pads..?

i dont know if its a repost or what not since the search engine on here isnt that great but im looking to change my brake pads and resurface my rotors... now my question is what are the best pads as far as performance and lasting power, and if they have less dust getting thrown out, even better... thanks in advance

Why ceramic?? Put on new rotors and Hawk HPS pads, you'll be happy.

seems like hawk is the best choice but i was reading that theyre not designed for street use... found that kinda odd... as far as new rotors, im on a budget right now so thats out of the question for the time being... and as far as the red stuff pads, ive heard that some people like em and others dont.. still kinda stuck here

tight budget = advance ceramic. like $36 for front pads.

Ceramic pads are not really meant for the street as you need to get some heat into them before they really start to bite.

hey fresh you got a link? and as far as heating them up, thats the bad thing about the regular compounds... ceramic doesnt get as hot, thus prevents the rotors from warping under heat which is the problem i have now.. i dont want to have to ever resurface my rotors again

advance auto parts. or pep boys. anyhow, ceramic will also produce less brake dust. if u want u could get slotted rotters to to help dissipate the heat
