if its a good one then it would calculate what needs to be changed like i mean it would notice if the car is running rich/lean and whatever else then fix it while at the same time changing other things. If not it is just a universal tune which although it might give you power is not the best way to go. Custom tune FTW

Tri-fecta is NOT a canned tune!! Its a custom tune to everone's specific setup!

Please, people, stop saying that!

^^Keep telling yourself that.... it's CANNED^^

So if you put that tune in your car, and something else fuckers up how do you fix it... Oh yeah you have to call and have the thingamabob to redo it... which is teh gehy!

The BSR is actually a good way to gain a lot of power and still have the ability to switch back to the stock tune with a push of a button and just a couple of minutes.

This Tuner is actually just a reflash, tweaking things like boost, timing, and fuel. The particular one that you linked is for the Automatic HHR SS, and we all know that the Auto is detuned. The Solstice GXP and Sky RL guys have been using this for over 1 1/2 years now, and it is very reliable. It bumps up to about 23psi and 275-290whp., and doesn't run too lean or too rich.

I believe there is a second BSR tuner in testing, that also takes into account certain mods, such as intake, exhaust and larger intercooler and boosts to about 300-310whp.

Yes it is canned, but it is a really, really good canned tune.

Hope this helps.:cssNET:

The best bet for a "fix" is HPTuners IMHO: http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmsuite_vehicles.php

Why do we keep calling it a fix? All stock PCMs need a tune to realize the potential of your mods. It's tuning, just like every other computer controlled car.

Why do we keep calling it a fix?

because some people are stupid and think 260 hp from a 2.0L stock means it is 'broken'
