Boost loss

I noticed that i ve lost two psi of boost this week. My air to fuel gauge is not reading below 14.1 at W.O.T. Also it wont go any higher then 17. It used to read lean when i would let off the gas. NOW IT MIGHT READ 17. I dont notice the car running any dfferent. Except that im only boosting 14psi. I was thinking that i might be experincing a catilitic converter that is breaking down. I have stock exhaust on the car. Some one told me that the cats on these cars start to break down at 20,000 miles. What do you guys think about the clogged cat therory.

your telling me you put 20k miles on your lnf engine already and you just got it? and your cat. wouldn't break down this early. its prob adjusting to the humidity and the climate. did you let the car warm up first?

if it was your cat, you would be boosting abnormally high...so it's not that.
