Dealer Info.....
I just got a job at a chevy dealer in the shop on the outskirts of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and I made friends with some sales guys. I asked him today about the SS/TC and he said he was told its insane and that its in some sort of show & tell type meeting. Then I asked when he should be getting some in and he said in 3 weeks, but then quickly changed his answer to anytime, so for anyone waiting, I'm guessing about 3 weeks. I also asked him to price me out an SS/TC with:
- Limited Slip Differential
- High Rise Spoiler
- Sunroof
- Sound System
I should have the MSRP on that in about a day or two and I'll let you guys know what it comes out to.

gary g took the ss/tc down the 1320 two weeks ago at e-town, and his best time was a 14.7 i think, after a few runs. its on youtube. i wasnt that impressed with it sure its a nice car but they fail to tell you that the tc s hp is rated at the motor and the sc is rated at the wheels so hp is about the same. im not saying that i wouldnt want one being the handeling and no lift shift are very sick.

WTF does that have to do with canadian pricing?
Why can some just not keep from trying to make the tc look bad?

I work for GM, so I get the GM discount. I think I'm going to go in to the dealership in a few weeks and see if I can get my hand on one for a test drive. I still have like a year and a half left to pay on my car, but maybe I'll buy out the rest of my contract on my car and finance a new T/C cobalt and keep my current one for the winter time. 2 cobalts are always better then one

Depending on the city and how many dealers/cars are available, I wouldn't expect any discount, hence why I bought a GTI.
I believe this is wrong... there are NO rebates on the 08 Cobalt SS. No free sunroof, and the $1250 rebate does not apply to the SS, only the lesser Cobalts...
