Angry trunk won't open

so my 05 ls trunk won't open by remote or the button in the dash tray. only can get in with the key. if i push the button on the remote the lights flash but no "pop". I was gonna check the fuses but can't seem to tell which it is. i checked the panel cover and the owners manual both. any ideas before i tear into this?

you probably have a bad trunk pop'er. Because if the lights are flashing then you know its recieving the signal, and the relay is activating...sooo...since i know the trunk pop'er is not on ist own fuse, i would have to say that either it is bad, or the wiring to it is bad!

3 year 36,000 mile bumperto bumper warrety. A late model 2005, it was worth a shot. *shrug* But mileage killed him.

Trunk solinoid as mentioned above if its not a fuse.

Just to up date everyone.... it wasn't the fuse or the relay. So I pulled the carpeted panel off the trunk and of course you can't see the solenoid or the wiring. But it turns out the plug from the wiring was about half way out of the socket on the solenoid.

Thanks again everyone!
