You might be able to get a bolt on kit for a procharger setup.

We're selling a number of our SS Supercharged to Turbocharged conversions, so keep your eye out this summer...there will be many s/c systems available as take-offs from LSJ! It's a great engine to put boost on, the LE5, so I bet it wold be a fun conversion.

there technically is one company on here that has the setup but most just go for piecing it together from the lsj parts since it's the same thing but much cheaper...

a 2.4 procharger setup is in the works right now but so far we don't have anything because i'm running short on money

also why are you against going turbo or nitrous?

yeah just piece it together, you just need patience, and you'll be good. I already got the intake manifold, and the supercharger is on its way from RavenSS. I hope to have it by next week so I can start polishing up. Then I just gotta buy all the supporting pieces, and I'm g2g

i dunno like the grunt of a supercharger.... not looking to make insane power gains and it seems more cost effective

A note:

Centrifugal superchargers like the Procharger do not provide low end grunt. In most cases, a correctly sized turbocharger will provide considerably more midrange power. It is for this reason that the centrifugals have not found a large following in the 4-cylinder world. On V8's with inherently good low-end torque, they are much more well-suited.

Positive displacement superchargers (like the stock Cobalt) provide that low-end grunt, but suffer from poor efficiency (excessive heat load) at high RPM.
