Airbox mod

........wow......

the sound is crazy, go past anything half throttle and its deep. but you drive normal and it sounds fairly stock.

oh i am not sure if the 07 and older have this but there is a bolt that is hidden near the bottom of the airbox below the body but above the fender lining. i hate that thing. i have to heat a knife to cut through the "bracket" nothing else would fit.

I will get back to you on MPG b/c i have a 1/4 tank left and i am going to play

theirs a how-to on the airbox mod.......you take the stock airfilter out and replace it with a dryflow(recomended) and leave the bottom off.......boom a couple hp's and a loud s/c

Oic. Like this? https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/how-mod-2-2-2-4-airbox-30926/

And basically create a short-ram intake that sucks in warm engine bay air eh? No thanks

well......no.....either way its going to be the same...so its either keep your stock intake....or add a 45 dollar filter and get about 3-4 hp......or spend 240bux and get like 7hp

the air is going to be hot either way....the benefits of the filter are more airflow for not alot of money....the benefit of a real CAI is that the air will be a few degrees less...and the diameter of the tubing is bigger so ull get more airflow

no

the air intake on a 2.0 is much different

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/airbox-modification-3890/ like this

it's basically the same thing as a cold air intake
