I am installing the 2.4L intake manifold, TB and gasket.

Does anyone have the part number for the Throttle body to intake manifold gasket?

I have one for the 2.2, but it's too small and is causing bad idling

 

just ask your dealer they always are able to find what im talking about.

 

yeah, after 4 hrs of no posts i went ahead and went to the dealer

12600729 is the part for the throttle body gasket or seal

 

Well i'm down to needed help pretty bad

I have the 2.4L kit from CED. Does that kit come with a black gasket that isn't used when you have both a 2.4TB and Intake manifold?

Cause now i'm starting to think i don't need a black gasket, just the seal on the Intake manifold and the 2.4 TB

 

If you are installing the 2.4 intake on a 2.2 AND using a 2.4 TB then you do not need the plate and thin black gasket...however, if you install the 2.4 TB and are not able to tune the 2.2 ECM for the 2.4 TB you will end up with reduced engine power because the increased airflow is seen by the ECM as a leak and will put it in limp mode.

If you install the 2.4 manifold and use your 2.2 TB use the spacer and thin black gasket to insure a good seal between the two.
