north carolina black cobat ss?
I was just stationed here and in front of the barracks was a black cobalt ss debadged with a cobaltss.net sticker. i would like to find some guys here since im new to the area and get some good info for tuning shops dynos ext..

dont know any from cherry point im out in camp lejeune i was out in cherry point for the air show on friday though but i dont have the css.net sticker on my car i know where there are some shops out here in jacksonville but not cherry point and thats like 45 mins to an hour drive from you

IF you're a CP there's a couple SS's on base, haven't seen the black debadged one though.
But beyond just black ones including my supercharged one (civilian base ID and Ohio tags...) there's my husbands silver SS with Gunmetal rims you will see on base around the PAO and Combat Camera office and if the insurance company doesn't total the sgts from combat camera's who's baby got backed into t-bone style by an F-250, there's at least a third.
If you need work done hit him my husband up ... he's Dark Sargent or something to that effect on the forum...has easy connections to a dyno in the area and is having a friend help him with a turbo charger install in the next few weeks.
Word to the wise, avoid the Chevy dealership in New Bern, the service shop manager is super nice, but the guys in the garage don't listen and don't check GM bulletins. We spent from early March when he PCSed til yesterday dealing with them on a very simple transmission fix. After three weeks of demoralizing Aveo driving he got his back, only to have new transmission problems. Both times he told them exactly what it was and was right, but they dicked around attempting trying a dozen different non-logical things first instead of listening to the customer first.
Anyway welcome to the area, watch the state troopers on 70, I lasted three weeks without a ticket.

2nd annual coby meet. I have been talking to many coby's in the Jacksonville area. For instance we had 9 come out last night at my car club meeting. i would like to spread outside the Jacksonville area.

We will meet for a few hours till everyone shows up and then we are going to cruise to the Piedmont Dragway where they are having "Chevy Day" and test-n-tune street legal drags.
The gates open at noon and they run the track from 1-4pm. If you plan to run i suggest you bring a helmet just incase they aren't optional. also bring enough money for food and entry into the track...
As of this morning i have 15 Coby's confirmed showing to the meet.

were getting close to that time of the month. Oct 19th is the day of the 1st state wide meet that i know of here in NC...
so far we have 27+ supposed to be there. Some are meeting at the mall and the rest are meeting at the dragstrip...i spoke with the track manager and he said if we have enough show up they are going to have a whole staging lane roped off just for us. if you have any questions please call me at
