GM Factory performance parts

Are the muffler and headers worth buying from GM? If they are at least decent how do they compare to say Gibson or Magnaflow?

keep it quiet and you'll have less worries

don't buy a system without a resonator or no rear muffler...

same here Im really curious unfortunately, this might be an instance where performance might take a hit to have a good sounding exhaust.

i love when people say the magnaflow doesnt sound farty because i think they have an obscured view of what farty is unless you like that which is fine. I am just saying i went with borla because if you want the least amount of ricey-ness(2.25 inch diameter) with descent performance gains(not sure what they exactly are) and plus borla just makes the best exhausts for the money. Wouldnt put anything else on any car.

Cat-Back Exhaust System - Performance
17802111
$489.00

Cat-Back Exhaust System - Touring
17802110
$589.00

These are from the GMPP site. They are both for the cobalt but didnt list what engine size they were for. Might be made for all but who knows until I or someone else talks to a parts personel at a Chevy dealer.

its the performance exhaust, 17802111
I'll dyno it sometime soon hopefully this week.
The exhaust is for a 2.0 or 2.2.

there are 2 exhausts, performance (17802111) or touring (17802110)
