4 cyilner = fart sounds no matter what unless, UNLESS you have an srt4 or suby. Other than that, every 4 cylinder out there, I don't care what you have, after you put an exhaust on it, it will sound farty. Mercury's cougar sounded badass with the pacesetter but I belive his cougar was a v6.

2.8 V-6 I believe. Same as probe and Merk Mystique or whatever you call it.

[QUOTE=scotty1979]Cat-Back Exhaust System - Performance
17802111
$489.00

Cat-Back Exhaust System - Touring
17802110
$589.00

Is the performance exhaust available directly from the dealership, or do I have to order from GMPP Thanks, I have to say that personnaly that one sounds the best, but why is the performance cheaper than the touring???

i think the touring has a longer resonator to quiet the sound making it more expensive or the performance..

Crate Engine Depot is actually the cheapest place to get the exhausts as well as the tips.

I couldn't imagine why they wouldn't, but I assumed the guy had already asked and they told him they couldn't.

Thanks, i know i didn't ask them, it's just I don't want to go through all the trouble of shipping if I can get it at the dealer. But now I have another option if my dealer can't get it... THanks guys...

I'll tell ya what... I bought a GOOD universal muffler... paid 94 bucks to have 2.5" piping run and it sounds great... LOUD but great really deep toned... and I could def. feel it have more power in the midrange than before.... But all together I spent around 180 bucks or so... I'll keep that extra couple hundred bucks for something else rather than buy a kit!

Installed the Sport GMPP exhaust last night. Didnt get to dyno after, but i put down 217/188 stock. The GM exhaust sounds great!! Its a little on the loud side at lower speed for me, but sounds awesome under full throttle. Fairly easy install, only took a little work to get the tip to line up straight. Looks good and sounds great. Best $450 i ever spent.
