The exhaust is for a 2.0 or 2.2.

there are 2 exhausts, performance (17802111) or touring (17802110)

if i'm not mistaken many people on this forum have told me that the 2.0 ss and the 2.4 ss come with the same exhaust from the factory? if this is the case wouldn't these gmpp exhausts fit the 2.4 as well?

i agree i like the sound of the gmpp performance exhaust a lot. But i'm not sure if I should go with the touring verison or the performance one. Does anyone know if the Perfromance exhaust will be able to pass inspection on my car in New York?

1. emissions, biggest reason.
2. Sounds terrible (no offense to peeps with no cat)

Those are my reasons.

to be honest, I am not sure. The label says 90dB, not sure what New York laws are.

I'll say this once more, the packing slip had the diagram and it says 2.0 and 2.2, nothing about the 2.4. You take your own risk with that one.

I have the performance exhaust, I believe that the touring is louder....I saw the info somewhere, I just cannot find it right now.
I hope this answers some ???'s
I posted 2 clips on the 'official exhaust thread' of the exhaust in action

from what I understand yes, the cat has a large effect of the sound, but also there are other modifcation done to said car, so the cat can't be blamed squarely.

My 3" duals do nothing but low deep growl. Not even near mid or treble sounding at all.

I have the GMPP performance exhaust. I notice a pick up in the mid to upper range. A buddy has it also and when I was stock, we raced. We were side by side until I hit 4th...he pulled a bit. I noticed it even more when I went into 5th, he walked away, like I was standing still. Now we are real close, unless I screw up the launch which I like to do...
