boost gauge acting weird

ok so i put my new 2.79 pulley on and put the s/c back on the car and i noticed that my boost gauge is acting like it is stuck, example, i hit the gas and the gauge doesnt move but if i hit the gauge it will move alittle bit, i connected all the stuff back to it idk what it could be, do i need a new gauge?

if nothing wrong with the gauge. if you have someone that has a ss/sc boost gauge you could check. It possibly could be the belt slipping.

try hitting the gauge on the side of the pillar holder...if it moves its a broken gauge

I had this same problem on my Comp Package Redline.. Stock Boost gauge went bye bye.. So I just slapped in a Mechanical Phantom II 30psi Boost Gauge.. It does the trick, even though the needle vibrates slightly in bumps and rough roads.. Lol
