Everyone starts somewhere. give it time haha. If you want to know all the things you can do to your car just ask us, every cobalt in our group has had something done to it and I know that alot of us have great information on what you can do. Sadly from experience, not sure if it's the same anymore, you can't tune the 2.2 so from what i remember trying to get any kind of F.I. just doesn't work. And The Red Ferret has confirmed that they still have no tuning out . But I did have a 2.2 myself and had an intake, muffler, and a pulley installed, so there are little things you can do definately!

And 04black2.2L I accepted you on my space Welcome to the group, you're more then welcome to check us out on saturday nights, see how you like everything. If it appeals to you, are you definately welcome to join us. Our rules are simple, have fun and stay drama free. Decals are being purchased currently you get four for $20 any color of your choice, you have to get with Adam in the silver ford focus.

As well as anyone who wants to join, same rules, same thing about the decals.

And you don't have to get any decals if you don't want to, if you decide to join. Just a little thing we are doing!

If you don't mind telling me. Why did you get rid of your car?

i had the automatic 2.2 cobalt and alot of them in the 2006 years had computer problems and i had one of them. My car would just shut off in the middle of a hard turn. And a few times it almost killed me doing that. I took it to the shop over and over again for this problem and they couldn't find it. It also had a lot of electrical issues, things were always being replaced in it. So I filed the lemon law and won. when I was married I filed for bankruptcy and signed a re-affirmation agreement to keep the car. Well as these problems were going on and after the lawsuit i decided I was tired of it and didn't feel safe in it. So I went looking to trade it in.

we discovered on my credit report that the company closed my account without telling me so i was paying for a car with a closed account. I was able to purchase my rx8 with no negative equity $550 down. I took both cars home, chopped the muffler off, traded the intake for a stock one, got rid of the rims and the pulley and had it re-poed. They went to sell it on an auction couldn't do it and on my credit report they cut their losses and signed it off. I checked my credit a month ago and the cobalt is in fact written off it is no longer on my credit.

However, when i purchased my rx8 i knew nothing about it and rather then test driving it etc I just hopped in it. Big mistake, it had bald tires, no fluids, nothing. 4 months later i got new tires, the fluids have been changed but she has countless problems. I've had a re-man engine, new tranny, 3rd gear fixed, new clutch. And some of it is my fault but not all of it. She also has no under tray, the plastic under the front rotary accent is broken (been like that since i got it). Rx-8's have a tpms or tire pressure monitoring system, the previous owner put rims that aren't designed for my car on it and one of the tmps sensors broke so now i have a constant tire pressure light.

I purchased my car the way you basically see it. She came with rims and an exhaust and a drop-in k&n air filter, i put the clear corners on, new tires, lowering springs, pulleys, intake, the decals, and the car bra 'cause an ex friend ruined my hood.

yeah unfortunately, nice work we did to it for my first tuner. No problem my friend. I might let you drive it once in awhile, or attempt to race it once it's fully fixed. As long as you don't crash it we are good

I race your RX8 with the cavy and the 125 shot! Soon as the bottle gets filled! LOL! Track times to come, that's what I'm waiting for! I wanna go for broke or do a mid 14 the way the cavy sits now!
