Thumbs up WTB: SS TC OEM Rims Who's selling?

As the title says...

Any of you SS TC owners want to you sell your rims? If so how much?

Let me know and I am sure we can make some kind of a deal.

Thanks

You'd be a fool as a TC owner to sell those rims.

In the oddity that I would sell mine, I would sell them for like 375 a piece after seeing that price CED threw out.

I'm in no rush to get them. Was just something I was looking into. Also, as said I am sure if someone got some new rims and wanted to get rid of the OEM wheels we would be able to work something out...

As for the price from CED, we have accounts with all the local chevy dealers around us so we can get it for less than that but its still more than what I would want to spend for OEM wheels.

Time is on my side for this one

I would never pay that much for OEM wheels I mean they are nice and all but why pay that much for OEM wheels when you can get much nicer aftermarket wheels for that price.

I am pretty sure they are forged...I can't remember.

Sides OEM stuff is always more expensive just because those wheels are guaranteed for 5 years 100,000 miles etc etc, all of the R&D that went into those rims has to be made back somewhere.

idk the current final drive seems to suit my turbo setup just fine, but i would like more top end gearing so it's not out of the question.

Ehh still I wouldnt pay a person that much money for them, because that warranty on the wheels goes out the window once you sell them. Never heard that they were forged, but who knows.

Id rather pick up a set of 18X8 Enkei RPF1s for that price.

It would make 1st gear a little more...useful

It does need all the help it can get

Oh I know, I completely agree with you, but aftermarket doesn't always mean better.

actually first gear is perfect now, my redline is at 8k, and with there being the least amount of load on the motor in first, the turbo spools later in that gear. makes for great launches and a killer 2nd gear.

Thanks for the idea.

Someone will be getting a call today for some price quotes on a good size order to see how much and how long it will take.

I'll post if anything looks promising
