GMPP Stage II for LNF??? Solstice SD290 Concept
To make a long story short, at the 2007 Sema show GM built a Solstice concept racer called the SD290. The concept listed a new GM Performance Parts Stage II kit for 290 horsepower. There were youtube videos of some GM guy being interviewed while stating that GM was 4-5 months out to release a Stage II kit for Solstice and Sky.
Here we are 7 months later with supposedly new info from GM saying end of summer and power numbers upgraded to 300 HP now. The kit consisted of a computer reflash, new MAF, and a couple other sensors to handle the higher boost.
Like the old Cobalt Stage II kit this kit was to be covered under warranty, which is big deal for me.
Here's a Solstice thread about it:

Have you jokers heard or smelled anything? I loved my 'Balt Stage II kit with pulley boys smaller pulley. Talk about easy horsepower.

Most of the Cobalt followers won't pay to much mind to this Stage II kit. GM has stated they have no plans to offer any Stage kits for the Cobalt.
You'll have better luck on a Sol/Sky forum I'm sure.

You guys suck, if GM is going to release a GMPP kit for the LNF in the SKy and Solstice why not for the HHR and Slobalts? I'll post if we hear anything else.
The Coupe is awesome but it will have an even smaller interior then the convertible. Check out the rear side windows, they're about 2 inches square.

I believe the transmission is the limiting factor for releasing this for the Cobalt SS/tc.
BradyB, how do you like your Solstice GXP? I'm thinking of getting one
I may just wait for the new GXP targa coupe.
