Lsj cams in an l61

Hey i know that the only problem putting the lsj cams in the 05-06 2.2s was the cam position sensor. But now with the cam position sensor in the 07 cobalt can i throw some ss sc cams in?

don't think you would want blower cams in a N/A engine

You could, but there is a better option.

Get the GMPP adjustable cam gear set. That way you can set either the LSJ cam timing profile, or any other profile you want! The two engines have (nearly) the same grind, the only difference is the timing.

+/- 10Deg

fair warning on them, over torque them down...they like to move.

i'm into checking mine almost dayly....thus far i've had no luck in truly locking them down....i'm up to 60ft/lb (spec is in the 50's) and still no luck.

LSJ cams will not physically fit in the 07-up L61 head. i have personally checked and verified that to be true.
