Here is my 08 SS/TC. Thread will have a full mod list from start to finish, pics, numbers and slips. for now injoy some pics.
The car came with sunroof,lsd and 6 disc.

Hours of tunning (when hptuners is done)
3in down pipe into stock exhaust w/electronic cutout
Intake and hardpiping with upgraded intercooler

the dyno pics are of the car on stock tune and on my tune with less boost and "safer a/f making the same power.
(ignore the torque in the first run I was having a hard time getting signal for the coil and the 248 is a little off the car made a constant 258-261 with this tune. again the coil sig. was cutting in and out all day.)

Here are some update pics. I have 2 and 3/4 to 3in intake, 2.5in intercooler pipping with hks ssq bov, and 600hp rated intercooler with custom end tanks. All R&D was done by Dave a Dejon. The car is also have a GT30 swap done. The car will be tuned on meth by me. Injoy!

Not Recaro, but still very well bolstered. Nothing at all like the ss/sc leather seats. The Recaros were too narrow for my fat ass, but these are perfect.

Wheels Powdercoated Black = YES! It'll look awesome.

Full Coilover Susp = NO. The SS/TC comes with some pretty damn good suspension as it is. Save your money and spend it on PERFORMANCE mods! :drool:

Go look on the HPTuners forum. They are AT LEAST 6 months away from even a BETA version. So um, all your mods mean nothing. The PPC tune is set up for a regulated amount of HP as well, so you are stuck at 300 hp no matter what you do. :)

Hey I have a crazy idea for everyone wanting to mod their cars right off the jump. How about this...since there won't be any real affordable or worthwhile gains until the ecu is cracked... why not just leave the car stock until then since most of your waranty problems should be cleared up within the first year or so. That is what I am planning on doing. I dont plan to spend a ton of money for parts/tunes that will be cheaper in 6 months. The computer stores all increases or changes in performance, so there would still be evidence of it even if you just put an intake on the car. Get all the bugs worked out of these cars before they get modded. Thats just common sense. Unless you can afford to pay out of pocket for broken shit...

Heres a question, If you are spraying, do you think it is going to effect the afr's since the computer uses a full time real time wideband o2? just a thought

I leaving mine stock. just debadging & clear bra. I was thinking about doing the side doors

my stock a/f was in the 14's, high 13's untill about 4,500rpm. and then came down to about 12.5 by redline. I commanded 11.5-11.0 by 3,000rpm and gave the car a couple of degrees of timing and made the same horse. the boost was also about 1.5psi less than stock due to the computer adjusting for the added power. (was done with stock boost sol.)

now I am trying to figure out how to stop my boost spike with the after market boost controller plugged in so it will stay out of limp mode. once I can figure this out the car will be tuned with stock boost to see the additional gains over stock with my tune and then the boost will be turned up....

did some more tunning on the dyno yesterday. 11.1-11.5 a/f at 20lbs I made 278whp and 312wtq. will post pics of dyno numbers.

I can flash it back to stock and then run with my tune. made some runs yesterday. will post slips and new dyno numbers soon. was doing 13.5* all night with 2.2 and 2.3 60's at 107 trap. need tires for sure!!!!! :usa:

went back to track on fri it was in the upper 80's and I picked up some mickeys (the same ones that hahn is running) and was doing 2.0 -2.1 60's at a consistant 13.2's at 106. I will be posting pics of the tires installed as well as a couple pics of my time slips. I will be doing 12's in a couple weeks for sure!!!!

I think I will be doing a turbo swap to my car. in order to do this with lets say a gt35r we must be able to run an aftermarket bov. so this is what I am thinking.... install hahns bov block off plate and install a bov flange on a hardpipe kit. then splice the map on the intercooler piping into the map on the manifold so they read the same. this way there will be no surge concerns I hope. that way if I can make it work with the stock turbo I know a gt turbo swap will work properly. also where would you guys recom. to install the flange. (right before the throttle plate). discuss...

Well I have 2.8 with 60lbs. and a wicked toon. I run a 13.30 and we got to run. Only 1 car length did the TC get me by. We were both highly impressed.

not to start anything but the car length (was at least a car and 1/2) was in between mine and your bump so thats at least 2 1/2 cars....right?..........all in good fun. the trip was a blast! lets got to trails and see that ss/sc run. I am hoping for 13.00. with new susp. light wheels and cooler weather.

I got the wheels from tire rack. put in a 07 sol. gxp. they are on the last page. give them a call they may have more. I am using a 15mm spacer from gravana and 98-02 f-body arp wheel studs up frt. I am also only running spacers up frt. to clear the brembo's. u can use stock lugs but I ran the rays lugs the company that make volk, nismo etc.... they are a high end jap. company like ssr.:cssNET:

I perfer a short ram. very min. gains with the full intake. in ohio weather I don't recom. full intakes, just my opinion. the bov does work on the stock turbo. the intake,pipping, bov and intercooler are installed on the factory turbo in those pics and works great! I will have pics of the gt30 swap in a couple weeks. if anyone has questions about the products I use please pm me.

This thing is going to push AT LEAST 400whp. New Era's (BTF) kit will probably be pretty similar to Dejon's, the only thing that will matter then is the price difference :thumb:

on tune and tires the car was doing 12.7's and that was hot lapping. the car currently has dejon intercooler pipping, dejon intake, dejon intercooler, AIS meth kit, 18x8in ssr type c rs's, I had coilovers but its a long story so I have some h@r racing on order, spec stage 3+ w/flywheel, aem true boost, for x-mas I got HIDS and projectors, gt30 swap and full exhuast is being r@d. goal is mid 11's and atleast a G in the skid. when I first tuned the car it did 278whp, and 312 on 19 or so psi. now its 20-21 psi with a few bolt ons. its at or very close to 300whp. but I am looking for around 425 or so

thanks for all the posts. I don't have the coilovers anymore. I had some problems with them but the guys at gravana stepped up and got everything taken care of (Thanks Ryan).
The car will have some H@R springs which drop it 2in frt and 1.6in rear. so I hope to get the same look. I think I may powder coat the wheels black w/new ssr emblems and clear over them and run no center caps for a little diff. look. also I am switching to all titanium lugs (the ones that are the multi color) to change the look up a little for 09. but first things first. I need to get the gt30 swap/clutch w/flywheel etc... finished up to go 11's.

the dyno pics are of the car on stock tune and on my tune with less boost and "safer a/f making the same power.
(ignore the torque in the first run I was having a hard time getting signal for the coil and the 248 is a little off the car made a constant 258-261 with this tune. again the coil sig. was cutting in and out all day.)

sportred, pyskosteve, and i had a dyno day not too long ago and tested both Hahn and Synapse's IC and the showed 98% to 99% efficiant so meth injection on a stock turbo is pointless. with a bigger turbo it might work.

I can prove this because a friend of mine has a sol. on an all stock turbo going 12.0's w/stock tires on METH. you got to know how to tune it to make it work right. being that your in a 2 year old mood and don't read the forum, Dejon is a sol./sky builder that also does dsm's.
