Anyone know who drives a white Cobalt SS in NB or NS? Yes I know whit isn't a factory color, so please spare the negitive replys. Its oviously been painted.

I heard its pretty strong, just wanted to know if anyone else has seen it or whats done to the car?

Pretty sure it isnt his? Unless he drives a 13 second 2.4L Cobalt? I am pretty sure it was the supercharged version.

So his is supercharged???? His car looks sweet, loving the white! What mods does he have anyways? My buddy drives a white 08 BMW 135i (twin turbo) that I was referring to who happened to have a short race against a white cobalt ss? and he said the white cobalt was pretty quick, My buddy who now has the BMW used to have a full bolt on stage 2, 2.8 Cobalt ss/sc.



If its a 2.4 it would take at the very least a turbo kit or one hell of alot of NOS to run with this 135i, as he went 13.2@107 on his winter tires/rims and a less than perfect track condition, he is in the high 12's with his summer tires, probably mid 12's with slicks!

 

That's not an SS/SC... there is no SS/SC rear lip... and those are 2.4L SS/NA 17" Rims.

He might have put an S/C on it... but that does not appear to be a Factory SS/SC...




Confirmed... DeViLzX is a 2.4L... not an SS/SC

Yeah that is not a SS/SC, but it looks damn good.

 

That's probably because the BMW 135i is slower than donkey *****.

I've walked all over that crap...

They've only got 300hp with an ass weighing in at 4255lbs

 

Actually they are under rated at 300 hp , most dyno in the 275-285whp stock, the 135i is the smallest and lightest BMW they make, they weigh around 3350lbs

he went 13.2@107 on his 225 wide winter rims and tires at the track last week and it had terrible traction, with his sticky 18's he is proably high 12's...i love your car just dont think you would walk all over it..especally considering his is WELL OVER 300whp!!!

That is one sweet coblalt, love the white! I wish the SS/SC came in white. Why the hell didn't chevy make a white cobalt SS/SC ? it is one of the most common colors!

 

Hmmm... my source was wrong on the weight. BMW website confirms the weight you have listed.

Either way, I've walked all over one. I'm also kind of fast. If your friend is trapping 107... we'd probably have a good race.

And I don't think you'll find who you are looking for... since off the top of my head, I can't think of any member who has had their SS/SC painted white... and I also can't think of any White 2.4L's that have s/c'd their car.

ya exactly, what i was thinking, I am on this forum daily and have never heard or seen a white one, but he is also on the forum and is very active so i beleive him when he said it was white and supercharged, he also used to own a full bolt on stage 2 2.8 car. So he knows what he is talking about.

I was surprised to hear about it as well, I thought maybe he mistakened it for silver, but ther are only 2 silver cobalt ss/sc in the whole province I am in, and it wasnt either of us that ran him

he did trap 107 but with his winter 225's tires and a less than perfect track condition, i think he can coax another 2-3 mph with his summer tires....he is well over 300whp


Either way, you car is one of the quicker stage 2 2.8 cars on the site, seen your vids pretty impressive kills you got, so you could definatly hang with him i am sure
