Question Clunk noise in EX331 also

I've got the 4T45 automatic transmission, it makes a clunk noise when shifting from drive to reverse and vice-versa.

Brought the car to the Dealer twice, first time the right sway-bar link replaced, second time bushings were placed on both control arms. I'm by no means mechanically inclined, but why would they replace parts for the front suspension because of a reported issue with the transmission?
