I thought our engines were 10:1 stock?

 

nope. not 10:1

 

No the 2.2L engines are 10:1

 

nope. they are 9.5:1 on the LSJ

 

Hmm... Okay cool.. So if you went turbo and plan about 400 hp would that mean you should get 10:1?

 

Actually you would probably want to stay around the compression that we have now. Most turbo cars have a lower compression...but a few keep it in the 9's for that added low end before the turbo spools up.
