Stiegemeier Sc porting
Stiegemeier Sc porting
Im thinkng about getting Stiegemeier to port and polish my SC.
What i would like to know is if tuning is required due to the added air flow, or will it be perfectly fine without tuning?
also will a porting in any way effect the IDC's?
thanks

I had my SC ported/polished internally about a year ago by Stiegemeier. Due to the increased airflow the SC is about 10x louder when you get into boost. The higher into boost, the louder and i love it. I know that no tuning is required.
I think i had mine done right before christmas when they was running a special.... total round trip with a complete front end rebuild and internal port and polish ran me just under $500.... But dont hold me to it costing that now. Like i said that was about a year ago.
I have like two kind of blurry internal pics when I got mine done if anyone wants to see. I only took 2 pictures before I put it on because I was kind of anxious to put the blower back on (got to understand).
Did you get it powdercoated black? It looks good! I live down the street from Stiegemeier, and im planning on getting mine done sometime here soon.
Stiegemeier did it, they leave their symbol on the S/C, you can see it in his pic

I talked to them last week, and its normally $395 to port it, but they are running a special right now for $345, and its $25 less if you pay cash (sorry non locals, lol), and it costs $75 to get painted. I am getting mine done this week, im getting it painted also. I saw one in person while I was there, they look awesome black! If you have any questions, let me know, I can ask when I drop mine off prolly wed.
