Saw this thing browsing the vortex, being built by some company in France.

Audi V8 32 Valve, with 2 GT28 turbo, 6 speed out of an A6.

They are expecting around 800bhp in a car that ways roughly 2600 pounds.
The last car this company built was a 500hp 24v Corrado.

I believe it's on a quatro system(4wd). And its apparently not that heavy of an engine, lighter then the vr6 that most people swap into mk2 dubs.

 

thats surprising because that looks big as **** in that engine bay

pretty badass either way though

Rallye Golf is AWD. And MK2's typically handle very well. I'm not sure how the new weight distro is gonna work out though.

 

Am I the only one who sees that turbo housing sitting on that blue silicone hose and thinks that the hose is either going to melt or catch fire when that thing is running hard? I've seen turbos glowing red they get so hot.

 

come to think of it... i remember that V-Dub that had the northstar V8 in it... it was crazy... youi could see thie cylinder head through the grill!

That thing was daily driven by his wife for a couple years I believe, but I haven't seen it around this last year.

 

From my understanding, they sold off a lot of the old project cars after Cam got hurt a while back.
