Heard it on a civic... wasnt pleasant, never heard it on a balt though.

 

i heard one on a 2.2 cavi sounded bad

I Dont Have A Glass Pack But I Have A Dynomax Bullet And It Sounds Nice But Dont Take Off The Cats Leave Both Of Them On And Well U Will Have A Nice Sounding Balt Ill Try To Get A Vid Up

I have a glass pack as a resonator and aside from it being loud and a bit raspy from my muffler the sound is decent.

I'm replacing muffler Friday to a quieter dynomax from the 3.5 tipped magnaflow.

 

i have a 2.25 cherry bomb glass pack that goes into a carbon fibor muffler and sounds good not ricy at all but just the glass pack sounds awful gets real anoying and plus you dont want and hondas to envy you

haha no my stepmom she works for rousch and they make a spoiler for the cobalt i guess...i got it for free cuz there was a scratch on it...i guess if there is a defect then they throw it out so i guess she took it i just had to repaint it. looks the SS high rise but smaller its the only thing they make for the cobalt...and there is no way i would put mustang **** on my car no not me

 

glass packs even sound like **** on a v8

 

I have ran a long glass pack (like 32" or somethign like that) to a cherrybomb 2 style muffler using 3" mandrel bent pipe with no cat on a mazda 4cyl before and it really sounded nice not loud and annoying at all... actually other than my magnaflow I had on my mustang and my homemade turbo back from my vr6 it was my favorite sounding.

honestly I don't like the sound of most people cobalts. play around with some systems... and you can't beat the walmart prices for the cherry bomb stuff. so if you're on a budget go for it and see what happens.

 

Did i mention it lowered me 2 tenths of a secound for only 42 dollars
