I've seen this work pretty well on other forums. Having a separate forum for auto-related discussion (non-Cobalt specific) that is lounge-like in atmosphere but separate from the lounge itself. People wanting to BS about non-automotive stuff can have the lounge, people that want to just have general auto discussion have the other one.

Thoughts?

 

Yeah I've seen this on other forums. Not a bad idea at all. "Other cars" is what I've seen them called.
It would certainly help us that just want to talk auto in general from having to sift through the other stuff.
