No, not the same thing. But I think its the same concept. Sorry.

It should be easy. Just unbolt and unhook wires. IMO

Basically the same thing as the coupe you remove the black screws peel back the carpet there is a 10mm nut you remove then on the outside of the light there is 2 7mm nuts you can clearly see very simple

it shouldnt be to hard tho. i believe you just need to pull back the trunk mat a bit and use a 10mm socket and then just pop them out. but dont quote me on this is a gm car who knows what it could be

i got it guys.. i used a pair of pliers to twist the plastic black screws off..

now when i pull back on the carpeting, i see one 10mm bolt.. and theres 2 other little bolts holding them in from the front.. you can see em right when you open the trunk.

now that i knw what im doin, il wake up in a few hours, park the balt in the back and remove my tail lights ...

il make sure to post some before and after pics in the afternoon..

thanks everyone for their help!

you have to remove the two screws that are located once you open the trunk. then inside the trunk where the cargo connects there will be two screws they needs to be removed to remove the taillight. I beleive they are like buterfly screws, the one you may have to pull the trunk lining to get to(cant remember its been awhile since ive done it) hope that helps should be 4 screw per taillight, the taillight should just fall out without any force. later
