Talked to the dealer today and was told they received allocation for ONE Cobalt SS Supercharged. It's about freaking time already. I placed my order on August 10th. The dealership has two pre-orders placed for the Cobalt SS Supercharged but the Sales Manager said he expects mine to be the one pulled, and if it's the other person's order, he told me he'll just change the color/options to the color/options that I have on my order. So, it's looks like I'm getting my order pulled on Tuesday either way. Thank God, it's been very frustrating playing this waiting game.

Mine was pulled for production 2/16 and I ordered well after you, on Oct. 10. Doesn't make a lot of sense. Did your dealer mention what the time frame is to build the car after it is pulled?. Mine said 7-10 days to see a vin number.

 

btw once your order is pulled there's no changing any options - it is locked in - there is nothing the dealer can do and phone calls to GM reps. don't work. If they're able to make a change, chances are it hasn't been pulled.

 

What I was told by the Sales Manager was that the order will actually be pulled on Monday (He won't know which one it is until Tuesday). As far as a build date, he said he would probably get that about a week after the order is pulled, then it would be 4-6 weeks after the car is built for it to be delivered (I highly doubt it will take anywhere near this long, I live 50 miles from the Lordstown Assembly complex and the dealership is in the same city).
