2nd gen projectors. Does your lense look 'faded'?
So I have seen pics of other people's car's with the 1st and 3rd gen projectors on it. All of them look great, the projectors actually look "black" instead of "grey/smokey" like mine do. I have the 2nd gen and my lenses already have stress cracks in them so I am wondering if these just came with really cheap lenses? It seems like everyone with the 1st or 3rd gen haven't had any problems other than clear coat peeling and I have yet to see anyones projectors that look smokey (not smoked like taillights, but like a grey smokey kinda color, sort of look like they have moisture in them but they dont)..
Anyone had any similar problems?
Here is the best pic I could find of my car that shows what I am talking about... Its not the sun either. They're actually worse than they look in the photo.

Here's the normal "black" look I was going for when I bought these: (pic thanks to hungryhip-ccp, hope u dont mind bro)

well you got option B, so the same thing applies to the lites i think. Need a cooling fan at the bottom of the housing...the fixed Corvette aftermarket lites for C5 had such a cooling fan i have no experience with these lites but discolored lens is a sure sign of heat best of luck
