GM Employee discount price

Anyone buy their Cobalt SS\TC at the GM employee discount rate.
If so what was the final cost of the car(amount off sticker price)

Cobalt im looking at is 25,000 and change(sport red tint coat)

Im thinking it would be around 3000 off sticker, how close is that?
Making it around 22,000 area

Hmmm I find this link interesting

http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/...ncentive_N.htm

Looks like I took a good guess if true
It does seem to be around 3,000 off.

Anymore feed back would be great, of people that did buy their cobalt ss\tc on the GM employee discount rate they offer to see if 3000 dollar off is correct.

Im not sure if theyre still offering now,my have ended but im locked into it because im still working out trying to upgraded to SS\TC and they where offering it at the time of contract talks.

You better double check that... usually you have to take delivery before the end of the offer...I think you might be out of luck...and I got ~$2,000 off for REAL employee pricing (not the promotion) back in May...

If delivery wasn't taken (or buyers order / purchase order wasn't signed) by Tuesday 9/30/08, You're SOL. Ordering date doesn't matter. If the promotion is over and you don't have the car or haven't signed the papers, you're not getting GMS.

or you could go in there and tell them your not paying over 22k for it. You are doing them a favor buying the car not the other way around

Like the other forum member said, im not giving them more than 22k for this car.

Long story short, this dealership OWES me big time.

All I was trying to say with the "REAL" price is that the employee price promotion would not be a bigger discount that the actual employee price. Some people were saying that it might be $3,000 off....which is not going to happen.

If you have some special relationship with the dealer, more power to you...but you aren't going to get employee pricing. And good luck getting it for $22,000 because there was just another price increase in the base SS/TC...I think they start at $24,095...
