Sorry guys, I'm still not sure my pics aren't going up. They're in my gallery for now though.

Let's try this again...

Alright, and since that worked, here are the after shots. I'll get better ones soon.

It set like this: / \ with about a 1/4 of an inch gap on the insides.
Yeah, I made them myself, I may redo that part, I dunno. The rounded ones almost look wierd to me anymore.

No, they're straight, I double checked. Yeah it's the XTC. It's okay, but I'm going to go with something else. It works well, but no where near the fit and finish of a Fugita or Ingen.

I'd say redo the strips. And get rid of the XTC thing. It just doesn't look right and seems impractical in every way. But if you like it, keep it. Its your ride man.
Well, I see what you're saying with all of this and I agree with all of it. Here's the thing. I got the XTC CAI as a gift and it has pros and cons. Pros: It breathes better than any other intake you'll find and really makes the SC sound great without getting lean codes, plus it doesn't block the air to the intercooler like everyone would think bc it sits about 4 inchs in front of it and air doesn't travel in a linear path. Cons: It's cheap really. The box is about all you get, they didn't send mounting brackets and the piping was flexible plastic tubing that got torn one night when I hit a cat. We replaced that with aluminum bent from a muffler shop and painted it. So yeah, I want a different one and as far as the stripes, when you make something custom to match bodylines, like the curve of a hood, you usually need a proportioned picture on the software you're using to get to work right. I haven't had a chance to do that before, but now that the old hood is sitting at the bodyshop, I'm thinking about taking a pic while it's against the wall and using that. But yeah, that's came up before.
Uhm, if you must feel that it's a quarter panel instead of a rear fender whatever.... same thing different name....
But yes smarty I know they don't connect... and I can still see they did a bad job, you are supposed to fade the paint in, so you can't see where the new paint and old paint started and stopped....
I can CLEARLY see where it was!

The reason I asked is because the painter spotted that too. It was from a previous painter. He said he'd fix it for free if I bought the paint. I'll be doing that soon.
