I'm still not going to get my hopes up...they had a Solstice there last year with Stage 2...doesn't mean it is for the Cobalt...
When I see a Cobalt there with any Stage kits, I'll be a believer...

true enough that last year the solstice had the same sorta stuff but I don't think they called any of it GMPP parts at that point, that has changed this year.
Good find man. Looks like good news for us indeed. They told us 260hp and 260trq was stock and the reality turned out to be an average of 240whp 250wtrq stock.....then a mathematician (not me) would say that the 290hp tune would look something like mid 260's whp? As far as I know there are no trq numbers released but the point is, IT SEEMS that they're trying to keep the turbo in its happy/safe range and giving drivers a slight boost and letting them keep warranty. That's what I predict anyway. Time will tell.
That isn't news for the Solstice. GM isn't releasing one for the Cobalt. Get that through your heads... lol. If you want tuning then go with aftermarket tuning, you will be more than happy with the results.
This doesn't mean ****, Its for the soltice not the Cobalt SS. Soltice LNF sits differently under the hood. So any intakes etc you see will not cross over to the Cobalt. This is great news for the Soltice/ maybe sky but not Cobalt SS's. Sorry, I must see it to believe it.

There was talk about all this before the LNF cobalt even came out... there was stage kits for the Solstice then in the works. Search for it, I know it's been discussed numerous times and beaten to death.
sure has, but only time will tell if SEMA releases a GMPP LNF tune and intake/exhaust.
Especially when you add no lift shift and launch control to the mix . I would be surprised if GM will want to warranty any stage kits with the economic situation .
