Got my clutch in JUST IN TIME FOR MY TRANNY TO EXPLODE.
Well, about a week ago I got my spec 2+ In, I was excited.. got it nice and broken in for the track this weekend, and boy was I happy to be able to go WOT again.
I went to the track, tuned a little, tried injections some pure denatured alcohol and had some really lame ET's, but my Trap speeds ( 101 or 102 everytime) were promising.
I have an Ingalls TD, so I wasn't too worried about Wheel hop, I launched at 2 Grand and wheel hopped out the ass... I felt my clutch slip and I was like WTF
.. so I just let off and went down the track with an ET of 22 seconds at a whopping 68 MPH, haha.. anyway, then it was off to the pit area where we jacked my car up and found my worst enemy.. Transmission Fluid.
Clutch was in for a week, now it's soaked in tranny fluid, and my tranny's cracked, Ain't life grand?

Yeah we can all hope. haha.
I guess it couldve been way worse though. SO im not complaining.. just time to save.

Ouch man that truly sucks. I have officially ran a 23 second 1/4 miles my first time at the track. Beat ya! Clutch heated up and slipped soo bad on the 1-2 shift that the car barely moved... I think I trapped at like 59.6 lol... I really need a new clutch too...

my BEST time with my old auto 2.2 Cavy was an 18.1.. and that was TRYING... BEAT THAT.

Ain't it the truth. The bitch got BENT lol. I have used Intense solid inserts successfully to 2.0 60' times on street tires with 0 wheel hop over and over.
