Trifecta tune

Ok, ive got a bunch of ?s about the tune:
1. Is it available for a 2.2 L61 auto?
2. How much does it cost and does anyone have any power gains?
3. If i get tuned, can i still continue to mod my car or would it mess up the tuning?
4. Would it require a certain octane fuel?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated, thanx

yea ive done a search, and i got a lot of mixed answers. a lot said that it is only available on the 05-06 model, and i have an 07. never seen anything about it being available on the auto. and never seen anything having to do with tuning afterwards. and ive seen many diff power gains, but i wanted to get it from some ppl who had it done on their car

The benchmark of trifecta is the 05-06 tuning since aftermarket has decided to tell us to **** ourselves. They didnt and they are one of only two companies who do it. They do 07-09 too. Yes it is for auto too and yes you can continue modding, and depending on what you want you can keep with shitty 87 fuel or you can require premium fuel. Typically tuning costs around 300 but cost may vary depending on what is needed/mods/ect.

I see what you mean but when fully modded like I plan on being(sts gt35, 8.7 compression pistons, turbo cams, ect.) you will need it for drivability.

yes, all models of cobalt

2. How much does it cost and does anyone have any power gains?
250$ and yes, i showed a gain of 11hp on the tune but way more considering what all he did

3. If i get tuned, can i still continue to mod my car or would it mess up the tuning?
you can and it wont, but you will want to retune later to get the most out of the new mods

4. Would it require a certain octane fuel?
no, although vince likes to tune with premium so you get the most out of it and then you can use any octane and your comp will accnt for it.

Any answers would be greatly appreciated, thanx

The tune is for auto's and manuals. you will gain more power and he can tune your tranny to shift at higher rpms. Yes you can still mod your car but i'd wait until your done so you only have to pay for one tune.

I had Vince tune my tranny and everything since i got stage 2 cams installed. I use 93 octane now, everything works great

Holy hell a 15.0? I have your exact mods plus full header back exhaust and I can not see myself running those times. You must have uber driver mod x100. But yes the tune is well worth it with a good amount of bolt-ons or more.

their not against it........you can do what you want to, think about the simplicity, cost, and downtime difference, and you will understand why

Check your fuses, it also could be your strut bar.

Yeah the strut bar must have added tons of weight. I bet i could run 13's all day if I took it off. And maybe I'll take off the factory low rise for more top speed yo!
