can you guys give me asvice as to how i can break the 3 downpipe muts without breaking the stud off. thank you

 

go to walmart and get this blaster ****. spray it on and let it sit for like a min then your set.

save your self the hassel and get the pb blaster and take out the studs. get rid of them before they snap on you and you have to drill them out. and go to the hardware store and buy some stainless steel bolts nuts and lock washers it makes it much easiar next time you take them out

 

Definitely think about getting new studs. might as well if you are changing things

 

yes but make sure to spray the blaster on it. cuz i dident mine and it seized up and was a pita to get out and it cost me like 30 to get it fixed

also if i get an xtc dowpipe and the code comes on how can i get that erased. i know the dealer wont do that

 

GL with studs. If theyre anything like mine, theyre HELL to get off. We actually ended up breaking one off, but there are 5 so it didnt make a difference.

 

if you can get your car on a lift, just spray the stups with pb blaster and let it sit for a few mins. then the top of the stud has a squar head get the right size socket on it, and wrench it off thats what i did to mine it took me ten mins,
And to get that code to go away casue im guessing your going catless, you will need to find someone local with hptuners that can tune you or turn that code off, basically they would just disable your second o2 sensor, but in order to do that your going to have to pay for the credits like your going to get a tune.
