Couple questions on Stage 2 Cams

I'm sure these were mentioned somewhere, but when I searched, the topics that came up were like 14 pages long...

Anyhoo.

1. When someone refers to "Stage 2" cams, what part number is that, exactly? Summit Racing has like 6 sets of Comp Cams.

2. How have the cams affected mileage?

Thanks.

Go to www.turbotechracing.com and get the stage 2 cams there. They are one of the supporting vendors on here.

Also, one more question.

I've been thinking about F/I for my car, would Stage II cams work fine in that case?

If you are goint F/I, just get the cams that are for your application ie blower or turbo grinds. That will help you maximize your setup.

Well your gas mileage is going to go down. You will be able to use tage 2 cams with any F/I application.

those are the specs. yes you CAN use them with cams altho the turbo grind cams are recommended for best power http://compcams.com/Cam_Specs/CamDet...csid=1079&sb=1

my personal opinion is that you get GM banks and get a custom grind like the HKS 272 grind or Brian Crown grind

yes the cams that im selling have sensor. they are comp cams with a custom put on sensor. the sensor was removed from the stock cam and then the comp intake cam was cut and the sensor was put on it....so yes these cams are one of a kind.....probably the only ones ever made. Ive had these for sell for over a month....i thought they would have sold the first week but i guess i was wrong

just click on the link on my sig

The only way you're going to get cams is if you buy mrsilent's stg 2 cams. They have to have the sensor pressed on, there's no other way unless you buy cams new and then send them to bates to have them custom made with the 07 cam sensor.

They aren't good for FI setups, but they are one hell of an upgrade for a NA 07.

Damn, so lope and forced induction probably won't happen?

Hmm, guess I'll probably stick with stock cams for now, then...

You can always get a pair of stockers off ebay or here for cheap when you go FI.

Do you really know what you're going to do? Turbo or SC? It's a great mod to have for your car until then, and mixed with a tune that will be one sick 2.2.

Besides, you can keep it NA and spray for easy 13's.

Have you dynoed yours yet? I'm trying to decide now, between doing Stage 2 cams and staying NA, or just going F/I...

That sounds like a good idea. I'd love to have cam lope AND a supercharger...
