I wanna see whats the most somone is running for WHP
my goal with mine is 650WHP
i know with these numbers i am going tohave to go with a Stand alone computer set up witch is pricey!
going to run about 350 ish this summer then upgrade to a GT42R turbo with a GT28R to spool it.

if your gonna flame this then eep it to your self, this is strickly for the turboed 2007 2.2 cobalts

Lol, unless you have a fully built motor, you won't even be able to run half of that.

Crank starts to go at 500, rods and pistons at 250.

not to mention axels and fuel pumps and hell alot more upgrades then what it might be worth, id say do the garret kit, do some forged internals and call it at that, espically if its a daily driver and the 300hp range is more than enough for a lilitle speed

Just make sure you don't lose any babies in that GT42R.

Dang, dude just rent a car, lol.

Probably a whole week it will be in the shop I would guess. Man, that's a pretty comprehensive build.

wow. this is gonna be a hard build. you're pretty much gonna have to do whatever they did to get the drag ecotec to run the way it does...lol

keep this thread going and keep us posted i'd love to see it and good luck though, seriously.

Its not his thread.

I did notice something. You have turbo grind cams and a fully upgraded valvetrain + Neutral shafts. The powerband on the turbo cams is 2200-7000. You probably should have gone with Stage 3 cams instead and adjustable cam gears. You would make more use of that head work and valvetrain and neutral shafts(since you done need them until about 7500rpms).

I'm doing all that later, everything is getting boosted and tuned for 7 psi first.

Internals will come when I pay this off first, lol.

It's just a lot of money all at one time, I can't do it all up front like that.

Good luck, I'm waiting on some good numbers out of that thing.

I thought you were an 06? LS2 edit is for 07+

You might just have to get a trifecta tune.

no im an 07. i just bought the car in 06. i can see the confusion.

having to send off for a tune instead of some right then and there physically doing it isnt the same. theres way too many variables that come into play and when your spending as much money as i am im not taking any chances on blowing it up

I do see your point. I'm getting a canned tune from Trifecta remotely just so I can drive it, then I'm going to a trifecta dealer and getting it fine tuned.
