Hey guys,

So, a few weeks ago, my girl was complaining that her LS was sputtering a bit when she accelerated sometimes. I didn't think much of it until I was with her last night and sure enough, it was. It was when you first punched the gas to accelerate from a lower speed (highway / hill mostly). Then I drove it, and it didn't seem to want to downshift when it did it either. I tried sliding it into I and such, but it just kept sputtering until it stopped.. It wouldn't gain and speed, just stay the same and sputter. It's hard to understand without a video or anything, but has anyone ever had a problem like this with their 2.2? I have a 2.4 and I never have.. Mine's modded too and hers is stock.. Luckily hers is still under warranty, but regardless, if it's a simile problem to fix, I'd like to just do that.. ECU..??

u run premi in it cuz my girls cavi does the same thing/sounds similar and it did it when she ran crap gas 87 in it if she runs premium 91+ it doesnt do it at all

 

She just runs regular..

Hmm.. Maybe I'll have her run a good system cleaner first..

 

if its under warrenty take it to the dealer. it could be a bad tank of gas, but you should never have to run anything more than 87 in a 2.2l.
