Well honestly I am really at a tug-o-war on this one. In one hand I think that if a company has put themselves into the position of debt and has no other choice then to foreclose, then they deserve to do so because obviously they have done a shitty job of money handling.

On the other hand though, IF the big three were to go under there has been estimates that well over 600,000 jobs in CANADA alone would be lost....which is WAY too much for any economy to handle. I could not even imagine how many in the USA would be lost. Southern Ontario is taking a big enough hit already that this would just cripple that economy and it would ripple right across Canada.

It would be ugly to say the least.

I am glad to see the bailout for the reason that the economy hopefully will be helped a bit and that all those people won't lose their jobs. I just hope the automakers don't screw up again.
