So i realized about a week ago that there was a whining noise coming from my trans in 3rd and 4th gears. It isnt really there in 5th but i cant hear by the time im in 5th due to road, wind and interior noises (good old cobalt). It basically starts from about 1500rpms and goes all the way through. Does anyone have this problem with their trans and is it something that i should take to the dealer immediately or wait for awhile.
ALso the car lately when i shut it down after letting it run for 1-2mins smells like burning oil by the turbo i know its normal to get hot but i just want to make sure that its okay and my bearings in the turbo arent going to ****. Thanks for the time i appreciate it

 

id take that **** in asap, not sure of the problem, take it in before you have problem getting parts
