want to add them and nightshade the rear lights... then hope the cops don't bitch

looked through the tint laws for Alabama and can't find any mention of tail lights, I had tail light covers on my old Z28 and never had a problem

yeah I found them like 2 minutes later on ebay, lol

nice price as well, I was wanting to support a vendor but oh well, don't like the 2nd gen because of the light strips


and I just bit the bullet, hovered over the buy it now for like 10 minutes... finally pulled the trigger


anyone else have that problem, even if I CAN afford something, I just can't buy it, I have to talk myself into it... I completely closed my internet browser and then was like "**** it, i'm buying them"... and finally actually went through with it, I do that with everything, it took me like a year to buy a Xbox 360, I went to buy one like 3 times and then would "talk myself out of it"... everyone tells me its being financially responsible, but it tends to **** me off, lol

yeah I know, it can be something stupid, but if its not a necessity, I have trouble buying it...

I got them for $155 shipped and bought a can of nightshade as well, was going to get those vinyls that are on ebay for the rears, but read the horror stories, lol... decided to just paint them myself, will get a can of clear coat when it all comes in...

I know that you can tape the rears off with painters tape and paint them on the car, and if I can talk my dad into doing that(he is good with **** like that), I will do that... if he isn't available, i will just take them off and do them myself, I don't trust my car and me painting parts while still on it, lol....

if I **** them up off the car, paint remover can fix my screw up, on the car... several thousand dollars can, lol

 

Yea vht is way better than that vinyl crap lol and its better to take them off i think. here's some pics

I only have the 4 small lights to do and a can should be enough to do 4 coats(right?)... and then i'm going to add like 3 coats of clear coat

 

Yea i put like 9 coats on mine lol but i was going very light with them. And i still have almost 1/2 a can left. For the clear coat i used the small can and barely finished 1/2. I think i sprayed like 6-7 coats of clear lol I mean you really can't mess up, especially if you plan on wetsanding.
