Boost gauge ....
Boost gauge ....
whats up guy's i got my SS TC about 4 months ago, iv noticed my SS came with a different boost gauge mines in kPa's or w/e not in PSI wondering if n-e one had this and switched it out for a PSI one and if so how much was it
hey dood
mine is the same, i want PSI as well, u can get it at any GM parts department and they should be able to give u a fairly cheep install price. I will get one in the future sometime, until then lol 100kpa and 120kpa in summer
The part is only like $58 from the US if you order online and it should be easier then pie to install. The morons at createenginedepot can't seem to find a reply button to my emails so I have had to wait to order the part. Maybe I go somewhere else and order.
Yeah I could do the conversion but I am old and have other things to worry about. I ordered the new gauge and I should have it in 3-4 days from the US. I wish the damn tire pressure monitoring system would switch into PSI also somehow!
And install it yourself. Sell the old one on ebay ...
Its like a 10 minute job and maybe 3 screws ... The airbag IS NOT in the pillar!
I have a psi boost gauge that ive been trying to sell on rlf its from a cobalt ss/sc i have the wirring harness as well i bought the gauge and harness for 90 and never put it in ill sell it for 60+shipping if u Canada guys are interested, im trying to save up and get my 60lbs injectors so i can finally throw my 2.8 on
Go into program mode in your dic (press both buttons on you wheel and go through new menu) and change units to english and youll get psi on tire pressure.
I saw an option but as for language, it is on english and still in kpa. I will try again in a few minutes becasue kpa is BS and whoever invented it should be shot Thanks
Dude just order it from http://www.gmpartscheap.com/

yeah X2, exaclty right, 3 screws in total, and it would be a simple; unplug the old, plug in the new
My tc is an 08 so there is a small possiblity they changed it for 09 but I wouldnt know why they would do that.
