hey dood :( mine is the same, i want PSI as well, u can get it at any GM parts department and they should be able to give u a fairly cheep install price. I will get one in the future sometime, until then lol 100kpa and 120kpa in summer
2k8turboSS 01-09-2009, 03:45 AM damn haha k cool not gonna lie i didnt know that Canada was kPa that :( haha
cereal83 01-09-2009, 06:11 AM The part is only like $58 from the US if you order online and it should be easier then pie to install. The morons at createenginedepot can't seem to find a reply button to my emails so I have had to wait to order the part. Maybe I go somewhere else and order.
MARIN007 01-09-2009, 03:59 PM I have the PSI gauge installed, I didn't like the kPa one. $113 CDN to my door after everything.
*throws psi party*

lol, i'll join the party sometime near summer. Btw, i could be wrong but I think a PSI gauge thru GM parts is just as cheep.

If you get it for cost, yes. I believe it was floating around $150ish for retail price when I checked a few months back. I could be wrong.
cereal83 01-12-2009, 09:35 AM I just called 2 dealers and part number 25800715 is $159.25 and will take 3-5 business days.
On the CrateEngineDepot website, the part is about $58 USD with $20-30 shipping to Canada!
Force 01-12-2009, 12:17 PM I never really saw an issue with doing the conversion in my head... But maybe I'm just better than most at doing math on the fly. 1psi = approx. 7kPa
cereal83 01-12-2009, 12:34 PM Yeah I could do the conversion but I am old and have other things to worry about. I ordered the new gauge and I should have it in 3-4 days from the US. I wish the damn tire pressure monitoring system would switch into PSI also somehow!

Go into program mode in your dic (press both buttons on you wheel and go through new menu) and change units to english and youll get psi on tire pressure.

I saw an option but as for language, it is on english and still in kpa. I will try again in a few minutes becasue kpa is BS and whoever invented it should be shot Thanks

My tc is an 08 so there is a small possiblity they changed it for 09 but I wouldnt know why they would do that.
cereal83 01-12-2009, 07:41 PM I think they have metric or imperial mode. I still have to try it. lol I will do it now
MARIN007 01-13-2009, 01:30 PM I think they have metric or imperial mode. I still have to try it. lol I will do it now
Wouldn't that setting change your trip meter to miles, your mileage to miles (lol), your fuel economy to MPG too?
cereal83 01-13-2009, 01:34 PM Yes it does. I tried it yesterday and I can switch it to english but then its in mph. Stupid car. I am gonna see if the dealer can switch this for me
ChevySKIDOO 03-17-2009, 06:10 PM will the ss/sc gauge work on my tc?
a member on here will sell me theres. for some reason he has an extra psi one and mine is in kpa which is so stupid?
anyone know?
cereal83 03-17-2009, 07:26 PM The SC PSI gauge only goes to like 20 PSI so no I would not want a SS/SC Gauge. You need something that goes to 30.
