No bid deal, as I don't eat or drink in my car anyway(and if I do, its a bottled drink so I can put the top right back on)... and in that, I have noticed the passenger cupholder is larger than then driver's side....


is this normal, or do I have a defect on my cupholder?


of course its not something I would worry about anyway(like that my cig lighter used to not work on my gtp, but it functioned as an accessory port all the same), I just found this odd...

hell yeah man i was pissed...the passenger cup holder holds a 40 oz no problem...but the driver side wont!!! now i only can get half as drunk....dammit

 

anyone know where to order a replacement?..my bright idea to paint mine fucked it all up now i need a new one.

Yeah and the 2.2's have the little rubber cup holder insert to fit more sizes. At least my old LS came with one. I kept it when I traded for the SS and it doesn't even fit because of the two different sizes. Sucks

 

I usually keep my drink in the right one anyway. Kinda makes getting into first difficult with those big Whataburger cups For some reason, fifth isn't an issue though, either because maybe I don't use it that much normally/around town or that maybe my knuckles are at a different angle or something. I'll have to pay attention to that next time...

 

yeah, I keep mine in the passenger side as well, because as you said going into 5th isn't a problem

 

Thats what I didnt like about my car either.. me and my girl always fight for the right cupholder.
