Dyno'd the Cobalt again, set a new record!!

Just to recap, previous best was 270HP and 236Tq with a stage3 INTENSE kit w/2.8" and no cat

Tonight we started with a 2.7" pulley,
1st pull,

276.4 HP and 244.1 TQ IAT2 which is post IC topped out at 124deg AFR hit
12.0@6500rpm 17psi boost

Pull #2, Changed to the famed Denso Iridium 68.00 dollar plugs!! 2.7" pulley

273.5 HP and 248.5 TQ IAT2 = 126deg

Pull #3, 2.6" pulley

276.5 HP and 257.0 TQ!!! IAT2=132deg AFR hit 12.6 above 6K 18.5 psi boost

Pull #4, 2.5" pulley

268.8 HP and 262.5 TQ!!! IAT2=136deg AFR hit 13.5!!! 19.8psi boost Thats why HP fell off.

NO changes made to MAFFT all night, settings C 1 were used. AFR stayed real nice until 5500 and up, then it started leaning out even though the PCM was commanding more!!

Time for bigger injectors!!

Thats almost a 30lbft increase and it comes in 1500rpm sooner! Let me tell you, you FEEL a major difference! The 2.5 is INSANE!!!! The car breaks the tires loose at 60+ mph

Remember, this is all thru the STOCK air filter and inlet assembly!!!

Will post dyno tomorrow, it's late and i'm tired!

it is amazing how the TQ grows! i bet you would pull more hp if you had a small enough belt! even thoe your probably not noticing the belt slipping it is so imagine if it was fitted perfectly !!!!!!

get a damn intake and gm stage 2 reflash (7k redline) youll be set bro 300 whp

I'm not saying bs or anything on your claims or anything like that. so please don't take it that way. I think your numbers are nice and believeable. Just when my car ran leaner i got 250 whp at 13.6 a/f but when i got it back to the 12's my hp came down but TQ goes up. I was told by alot of people at differnet dynos that lean means hp where richer means more TQ. I like the more even tq and hp numbers you had on the last run though. I rather that then a higher hp number. again let me say nice numbers you put down.

Look at what you posted then look at my numbers. Opposite of what you said! My hp went down when it was lean like it should on forced induction car. Peak HP should occur at around 12.5-12.8 and peak TQ at at 11.8 to 12.0, so you were partly correct

On the chart, the 2.5 pulley was 3-6hp higher than the 2.6 from 3K until 6K, then it went WAY lean.

No belt slip at all! Solid as a rock the entire pull! I'm using the INTENSE 3" tensioner pulley
w/ stock belt

Anything above 12 AFR for a F/I car is not that safe. Watch the AFR i would hate see someone blow up there car.

Damn dude, all this done with just the intense stage 3 kit? And the torque numbers is where it's at. At least we can all see where the hp stop climbing. But Impressive. So I see you grinded the snout. Was it hard to do that? (I'm a newb when it comes to grinding supercharger snouts)

Not just the Intense kit, but tons ans tons of time and knowledge go into getting those numbers. thats why we sit back and wait, then when they figure it all out for us, we buy the kit and tune it just like them.

I'm going to a 3.5" custom air intake as soon as i get into the PCM, less than 100.00 to make and bigger gains than whats available! I will have for sale soon!

c'mon its the guys from INTENSE, you think theyre gona lie about #'s?

looking foreward to seeing the intake available...im just not a fan of how low the intake sits, and the chance of sucking up water here in the FL rains we get during the summer...
