couple questions about dejon piping

i just installed the dejon intake, charge piping, and hks ssq bov...

my questions are:

there's a little nipple on the intake, that the steel braided line doesn't quite reach to, so as of right now, i have a breather on the nipple on the intake, and the steel braided line is left open... is there any certain way i should correct this even though the steel braided line does not reach the nipple?

also, on the charge piping:

i installed the hks ssq bov, yet, it only blows off at pretty much redline... i saw a video of a white ss/tc just revving up and it was blowing off... any ideas on what could be wrong here? i tapped the top vac line on sensor thing where all 3 vac lines meet up, is this wrong?

On the sensor you have to t the top line into the stock bypass valve and take the vacuum line that's on the bypass valve off and run it into your bov

do it this way I am running a synapse bov with full dejon pipes

take the bov tube off of the solenoid. Its the one on the left looking at it and tee off the top one and connect the stock bov there.

now connect your new bov where the stock one was.

and you must cap off the intake hose do not put a breather on it air needs to only go through the maf and enter no where else in the system.

I went to autozone in their HELP product is a emmisions hose looks like a striaght pipe with a boot on one end and a 90 degree boot on the other. I use the straight end and cut it to fit. Works great.

Looking back on a previous post you did before you bought everything, do you have flutter with the HKS? Which mounting position did you end up getting the rear or front.

by the way just to let you know of an update on my synapse. I have 0 flutter and it is extremely respoonsive and operates much like the stock one does except this one can hold some serious boost for that turbo swap later on.

Is there any point to a aftermarket BOV if you don't plan to upgrade the turbo, other than the cool sound? I'm just planning ahead and I want to order the Dejon intake and charge pipe and I'd like to make sure it's all set up from the get go instead of sending it back later to have a flange installed. At the same time since this will be my DD that has to last at least 5 years I don't want to do anything that could compromise that, yet I still want to have fun with it.

I had that exact problem with my Dejon intake. It is no big deal to fix. You heed a 5/8" fuel line tool to remove the stock stainless line. Auto store or your mechanic should have one. Then get a 14" piece of 3/8" heavy duty rubber hose and two hose clamps. Problem solved.

What did you guys do about the two screws that stick up from the stock airbox? I've got a cap for a temporary fix.

I took a pair of pliars and bent the one close to the intake down toward the engine because the bolt was hitting the intake pipe as the engine moved.
