Hey, you were there? I was invited but couldn't make it. A guy I work with drives for Dyson(spelling?),#16 as a back-up. He said the Audi was impressive, very quiet, which wasn't expected. Let's see how it does in Le Mans, should be good. He commented on his car not even finishing, since it hasn't in the last 3-4 yrs, and they took 2nd!
Did you also make it for the Rolex 24?
I'll check out your videos tommorow at work, can't get them to run now.

yeah i want to get into driving the sports cars...but i dont know how to get into it...i race go-karts for 7 years and i want to go the extra step...yeah i was at the Rolex 24 to...that was a good race to.

 

Well your at the first step with the Karts, I will ask Steve at work how he got to that level, I do know it took him years. At Rolex, he drove for Brumos, #58 car, they didn't do to bad either! I am trying to also get involved, but more as a, Team member, then a driver. Hoping to get to WalkinsGlen or LimeRock this year. I'll try to let you know.

 

Have you guys seen the specs on that TDI Audi??? 600hp and 1500ft.lbs or numbers close to that. It is expected to dominate this year. And Audi is supposed to be releasing a similar detuned motor on a Lambo platform. To thread starter was it blowing black smoke????

 

Yeah the Audi is going to kill everyone...the one car that was his competitor was the Dyson team...and the Audi was like 7 laps ahead of 2nd place...the other Audi did not finish due to overheating problems
