Sound like a good deal?

Alright, this weekend i'll be going to a dealership to see about paying off my $10,800 amount on my 2008 cobalt LT with 12,800 miles on it for a 2006 red ss/sc

Now they want $14,990 for the SS/SC with 27,000 miles. Does this sound like a good deal to you guys? It's on KBB for $15,900 but i was thinking if they pay off my loan im gonna shoot for 14,900 with taxes and tags. I don't like how the GM 3 year warranty is gone with this car and 3 of the 4 wheels have minor curb rash but thats all the more reason to talk them down right?

Thoughts please.

I have seen better deals. You can probably get a used TC for that much.

I don't think they will pay it off... why not spend a few more grand and go turbo?

pshh... my dealer wanted 21,900. Then the best they could do was 19,900 for 5000 miles

Well see, i told the guy i don't have to get it paid off and buy this s/c anyway, it's just another toy to have

Two of my buddies have been to this dealership within the past month and he talked them down from $28,000 on a power stroke 2006 to $21,000 and a z4 bmw from $19,000 to $16,000 out the door so it looks promising. Not to mention for the bmw he traded his 1996 mustang gt vert with beat leather and 150,000 miles for $3,500

Trade in on average for my car according to NADA is $10,500

Get the VIN off the ss/sc and post it or PM me. I can look at it's warranty claim history ...build sheet and a few other things that might help you barter with.
